This was my first swap! Char at Pickled Pepper Patch was the host and I had a lot of fun with it. My partner was Sondra from Home & Garden Grace. WOW!! She was amazing! I am so pleased with my goodies. I took several pictures of the items she sent.
First of all, she made 3 towels for my kitchen. They say faith hope and charity.
Next, she stitched this country home sampler that I adore. The little pillow is made from several different wool fabrics and is probably my favorite piece!
She also sent me this great golden yellow table runner.
And last but not least, she made this apron from an old flour sack. I think it is adorable and I love the way it looks hanging from my cupboard!
It was a great experience for my first swap! I'm anxious to try another one! I sent her several handmade things as well. She had some suggestions for me of sayings she would like stitched to use in her home. I made her a personalized sampler with her name and the year her marriage was established, a pillow with "Rise and Shine, Give God the Glory", a framed "Simplify" sampler and a couple of homespun pillows with rusty stars and hearts.
