Textures of My Home

Each one of your homes have that unique feel and cozy warmth that make it your own. Have you ever stopped to think about what it is about your home that makes it "feel" the way it does? I was inspired by fellow bloggers to find and capture some of the 'Textures in My Home". Linda from Behind My Red Door showcased some of her textures this weekend and I decided to give it a try too. It's really pretty easy, you can just grab your camera and go. The hard part is not taking too many pictures!!

Hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into the texture character of our home. Wish you could all come for a visit so we could sit around and chat.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Jacki~ me again. :)
The answer to your question about what the scripture paper of Luke 2 is wrapped around are beeswax bars for melters.
I make homemade soap too, but not with cinnamon~to irritating to the skin. :)Thanks for visiting my blog too. I've really had fun with these posts.
Hugs~ Birgit

Enjoyed the inviting tour! Lots of pretties to want to 'touch' - it is hard to just look.

Those are great! I love the old gameboard - we called it snaps but I know there is a proper name.

Have a great Sunday!!
