Kaaren's great giveaway!

I was so pleased yesterday when I got the mail!! My needlecase from Kaaren's giveaway at The Painted Quilt arrived! I was so excited to find out that I had won it and even more excited to open it. Now I get to use it!! That's the best part. I love to stitch primitive samplers. Keeping my needles and floss organized is a constant struggle. Kaaren also has a great tutorial on making your own if you are interested.She stitched "I pledge allegiance" on the outside. The inside has 3 pockets and some wool pin cushions and the one is removeable.

You can see, I've already started using it! I have many stitching projects underway and this needlecase is a great way to keep all of my floss together. Thanks for the great giveaway Kaaren!

New product!! Primitive Baby Sampler

We are excited about our new primitive baby samplers! Your precious bundle of joy has arrived and we would love to make a primitive baby sampler to commemorate the event! We will include your baby's name and birth date specifics. This sampler is hand stitched on tea dyed muslin and set in a black distressed frame. This sampler is shown as a 5x7. July Giveaway at Hearthside Collection!!

We often hear it said that it should be like Christmas every day of the year. We should share our love, joy, peace and goodwill all year long. I'm giving you a little encouragement to start thinking Christmas in July. Now, I realize that walking up your neighbors front steps with a group of young people holding a mug of hot chocolate and singing "Joy to the World" might be pushing it a bit.
