Country Sampler's 2010 Home Tour Edition came out this month and we are very excited to say that our basket was chosen to be on display!! Several months ago Country Sampler asked all of their advertisers to submit product photos to be considered for their Home Tour Edition. Of all the photos submitted, they choose 23 products to display in the homes that were being featured.
Our long wall basket is one we designed several years back. I wanted a vertical basket for some of those "skinny" places in our homes that need a little sprucing up. They also look great at the side of a picture grouping. We think the pip berries and rusty star are the perfect accent to the primitive basket.

I started making baskets almost 20 years ago. A friend from church hosted a ladies night out. She invited an accomplished weaver to come and teach us how to make a basket. Wow! That was fun! Soon after that I began taking classes to learn more about basket weaving. For a few years, myself and 2 other ladies held basket making classes every month at our church. I have taught each of my 3 daughters to make baskets as well.
We have a several styles of handmade baskets available in our online primitive country store Hearthside Collection. If you don't see the color or size you are looking for, contact us. We may be able to help you get a basket that will fit in with your primitive country decor.
Thanks for stopping by!
